ST. JOHNS COUNTY WATERING RESTRICTIONS - KNOW YOUR DAYS
Addresses ending in odd numbers can water on Wednesday/Saturday prior to 10:00 a.m. or after 4:00 p.m. during daylight savings time. You can water on Saturday only during eastern standard time.
Addresses ending in even numbers can water on Thursday/Sunday prior to 10:00 a.m. or after 4:00 p.m. during daylight savings time. You can water on Sunday only during eastern standard time.
These restrictions are to ensure efficient use of water for landscape irrigation.

SAFETY
The following tips may help you avoid becoming a victim of crime:
• Stay alert to your surroundings
• Travel with a friend whenever possible
• Walk in well-lighted areas at night
• Walk confidently and at a steady pace
• Make eye contact with people when walking
• Trust your instincts. If you feel uncomfortable leave immediately and get help
• Do not indicate that you will be gone for a specific period of time on your voice mail
• Keep your home well lit at night inside and outside
• Ask for proper identification from deliverymen, utility workers or strangers
• Never give your credit card, social security number or bank account information to anyone over the telephone unless you have placed the call
• Always lock all doors and windows even when just leaving the house for a minute
• Never leave a house key under a doormat or in a flowerpot. Crooks know just where to look
• Exterior doors should have a deadbolt lock with a minimum one-inch throw into the door frame
• Install a side-angle lens viewer in the front door
• Always have your keys ready when approaching your home or vehicle

Call the appropriate number. Emergencies call 9-1-1 or for non-emergencies call (904)824-8304.
- Give your name and address
- Briefly describe the event
- What happened, when, where and who was involved
- Describe the suspect's sex, race, age, height, weight, hair color, clothing and any distinctive characteristics such as a beard, mustache, scars, tatoo, or accent
- Describe the vehicle if one was involved; color, make, model, year, license plate and any special features such as stickers, dents or decals
